E-commerce Explained

E-Commerce is way of doing business transactions electronically.  The word electronically in this context means that in E-Commerce business transactions gets completed via electronic medium. This electronic medium mostly uses computers on Internet. The transaction may also be done through a mobile device, smartphone, iPad, Kindle, Android Tablet then it is mobile commerce. Mobile commerce is a subset of E-Commerce.

Several simple example of E-Commerce includes:
An individual purchases a book on Internet
An individual withdraws funds from ATM
A retailer orders merchandise using an EDI network or suppliers extranet
An individual or business calls a toll free number and orders the requirements using the seller’s interactive telephone system.
A manager orders office supplies for his office using Internet on a commercial website set-up for the seller.
An individual reserves a travel ticket or a room in a hotel using the Internet by surfing the related website using a few clicks of mouse.

A Complex examples could be:
A student visits the website of a bookstore on Internet and makes inquiries about the availability of an out of stock book. The bookstore employee receives the the enquiry and sources a digital copy of the book and responds to the enquiry with the  option and costs. The student agrees and uses a payment processor to pay for download and the book store employee gives the student a key to download the digital book. The bookstore employee harvests the students contact details and areas of interest and adds to a database which will email customers when books of possible interest arrive in the store or are put on sale.

E-Commerce transactions are great for small business as well as large because payment is made before goods are made available for digital download. The only things you should be aware of is:

a) Ensuring that your payment processor links are set-up properly

b) Ensuring that your server for the sales page and downloads is not going to crash because of  bandwidth or data transfer issues with your hosting company, or limitations in your own server set-up.

c) Ensuring that money back guarantee’s are honoured in a timely and friendly manner.

Remember, when you enter the world of digital downloads and E-Commerce that you expose yourself to the wiles of hackers and internet criminals. Ensure you have updated, anti-virus and malware plus I recommend the Avast Internet Security Suite, they have a free program if you want to check it out here http://www.avast.com/index, but any of the numerous anti-virus programs out there will provide you with protection, if you keep it up to date.  This precaution will help protect your financial information from others, who have no right to it. You can play your part as well by changing your passwords to critical accounts and sites.

To facilitate E-Commerce requires you to possess  an attitude that is open to change, innovation etc. Security of information is good if you take the precautions mentioned above and the quality of the product can usually be ascertained by going to forums that discuss the product or products of that type.

Chopper Tattoo- GetThe Tattoo Design You Really Want

Men and women of all ages and walks of life now view body art, “tat’s” or tattoos as a legitimate way of expressing themselves. The Tattoo has been used to proclaim love and fidelity to god, parents and lovers; to identify membership of a group and for decoration. They range from people of both sexes who have the majority of their bodies covered in tattoos to those that have small discrete tattoo’s some private but many in private or semi-private places.

Tattoo’s used to have to last a lifetime and although now there are options that mean you can have degrees of permanency choosing the right design is still an important part of conveying your message, no matter if it is to last a night or a month or a lifetime. Sometimes the tattoo parlor is not the ideal place to try to make design decisions.

Chopper Tattoo’s has come up with the ideal solution. They have created a huge database of designs for you to choose from in the comfort of your own home. What better place for you to make important decisions.

In comfort you can browse the database which is split up into categories such as Tribal Tattoos, Dragon Tattoos, Cross Tattoos, Star Tattoos, Gothic Tattoos, Armband Tattoos and many more. Also there are pages where individual tattoo artists can display their designs and promote their studios. Most importantly the database is constantly being expanded and updated, so coming back is not boring but is rewarded with new designs.

You find the right design and the ideal words but the lettering was not quite right. Chopper Tattoo has thought of that and you can have an added facility in your membership to download as many of these as you wish to over the period of your subscription. Some have said that this facility is costly and similar databases of letters are available all over the Internet for free. It’s an added extra that you can certainly live without, but if you want the convenience of everything in one place the extra may be worthwhile.

The site itself is easy to navigate and the most non-technical person will be able to browse the designs, view the different lettering possibilities, customize the design by color and size, and then print their choice, or as many choices as they wish. Then it’s off to your favorite tattooist, or if you don’t have a favorite you can search on the site for those near to where you live.

If you are an aspiring tattoo artist yourself, then you can increase your exposure and your income by submitting your designs to the Chopper Tattoo team. If you make the grade they will give you your own page to upload the designs and promote your business. You can also earn money from sales made from your page.

Membership also comes with bonuses such as free downloadable music and a subscription to “Inked” magazine.

Chopper Tattoo memberships are priced reasonably, and there are several membership choices.

  • 1 Month – $19.95
  • I Month (with lettering) – $24.94
  • 2 Months – $24.95
  • 2 months (with lettering)- $29.94
  • Lifetime – $34.44
  • Lifetime (with lettering)- $39.43

Obviously if you are only planning on getting one tattoo in your lifetime the 1 month membership makes sense. But for those people who are planning more tattoos in future and for tattoo freaks lifetime membership is recommended.

The site also offers a refund policy; if you are not satisfied with their services they offer you a full 60 day refund.
